Who Built This House???
I want to know what the people who built our house were thinking. The faucets in the master bathroom (two of them) are backwards (hot/cold) the one in the hallway bathroom is correct, the one in the kitchen is backwards and the washing machine hook up is backwards. The house was built for someone handicapped (wide doorways, hallway, easy to open door handles, low switches, master bathroom has railings), but is it normal to slant the floor into a room going up, so it’s downhill coming out? It’s like living in a funhouse mirror. Well, kind of. Also, the kitchen has a large overhead light, which only has ONE switch, which is OUTSIDE of the kitchen, so if you’re in the kitchen and want the big light on, you have to walk around a counter to get to a wall on the other side of the stove. It’s just weird. There are extra outlets (and double/triple switches for dining light & living room lights/fans) all over the place, although not a single one in the hallway. It’s like a mentally ill and physically disabled person designed and built the house. Some things are extra convenient, and others are extra annoying. Plus, all of our lights are burning out in the same week. WTH?
