Weird Things That Are Difficult After Back Surgery

*  Spitting in the sink after brushing your teeth (no bending at the waist)
*  Getting soap out of your butt in the shower (mustn’t have the water hitting your back)
*  Picking things up after you drop them (seems to happen more often now than before surgery)
*  Giving eyedrops to Phoenix (can’t bend down that far)
*  Pouring Keno’s gross water (she likes to put her food in her water dish) into the toilet (no bending, and squatting puts you in the “I’m gonna be sick” position)
*  Can’t shave my legs - YUK! (again, no bending…or having the water hit your back)

1. A handheld shower head?  I should probably get one now, in case I ever have back surgery.  It might help with the spitting, too, if you brush your teeth in the shower.

2. A handheld shower head - yeah, that’s something I should’ve thought of, huh?  Oops.  Seriously, you should get one and that’ll absolutely assure you of probably never needing it.
