The Daily Factoid - Cats
They can’t taste sweet things. How sad for them.

I read something similar to this recently, in an article saying that if your cat was always after your ice cream, it was after the cream and not the sugar. I guess that makes sense, as Frank becomes obsessive about whipped cream and chocolate ice cream, yet ignores candy bars.
It also takes away the argument of the guy at that fancy, expensive pet food store we go to, the guy who suggested that Frank loves “Fancy Feast” because it’s full of sugar. I think Frank probably loves “Fancy Feast” because it’s full of fat. Frank is now eating Merrick brand food and while he’s slow to warm up to it, today he did wolf down half a can of “Grammie’s Pot Pie”. Even I thought that smelled good.

Interesting theory.
To test this hypothesis, for one month serve Frank nothing but Fancy Feast, followed by copious amounts of desserts. Suggestions: Red velvet cake; mini eclairs; tiny Bavarian cream puffs sprinkled with powdered sugar; B&J’s Cherry Garcia w/chocolate sauce.
I think it important that you only present this menu to FRANK, not the coexisting interlopers you insist on sheltering.
