Most Excellent Puppy News - And A Decent Flippy Update Too
Phoenix and Cricket both had appointments today. Phoenix, to get her urine/blood checked, to make sure all of her meds are working properly; and Cricket, to have her knee checked. Phoenix passed all of her tests with flying colors. Cricket’s knee was where it should be, which is good news. The vet said that it could be arthritis caused by the damp weather, especially since the Rimadyl has helped her. We’re to keep her on the meds for another week and then see how she is. It’s obviously better news than we expeccted.
My horrible leg pain has eased off A LOT. I don’t think it’s because of the pain meds either. I think the chiropractic treatments and the constant icing have helped. It’s still pretty bad if I stand or walk for any length of time and it’s still hard to get comfortable to sleep, but it’s much improved. Wheee!

I’m so happy about this! What great news! I was right when I suggested it might be weather-related. I’d do the Happy Dance, but I’d probably end up at the chiropractor myself.

So glad to hear you are feeling better Nancy! did you see Anderson Cooper on Oprah the other day - what a babe! That would/should have made you mucho better. He was even mentioned during Will and Grace last night. I don’t think I like that so many people are as fond of him as we are. Hope to hear more good - feeling better news - from you!

Ilona, nope, didn’t see Anderson on Oprah. And we don’t watch Will & Grace anymore. I know, we’re disgraceful homosexuals. We did watch the live season premiere, but it’s one of those shows we like when we watch it, but don’t make a special effort to see it.

Cricket has sworn off booze, now that she’s discovered pills, Leanne. She said the booze was contributing to the extra weight she was carrying around the middle.
Mikey, Bucky hasn’t seen Cricket with her new “bat ears” haircut. I probably won’t take another picture until she grows some hair on those things…or until she learns how to use them and fly.
