Meme’d…And It Feels So Good

I was meme’d by Leigh-Ann via VetMommy.  “5 Weird Things About Me” 1.  I play with my food.  If I’m eating a Payday bar, I’ll eat all the nuts around the edges off first.  I generally eat the topping off my pizza before I eat the crust.  I like pasta shells because they often stick together, therefore making a more enjoyable chunk of pasta.  When I eat menudo, I like to leave lots of posole for last, because I like to eat them individually.  Unfortunately, this kind of odd or maybe OCD behavior doesn’t enter my life in regards to tidiness. 2.  Like Celine, I have a super sensitive nose.  It bugs Leigh-Ann because sometimes the mildest of smells to her, make me nauseous.  Of course, sometimes she wants to use my nose for good (to her), so she’ll ask me to smell the floor to see if the cats peed on the floor after one of their stupid fights when usually Frank loses a bit of control in fear.  Anyway, yay, smellin’ for pee.  Luckily, Nature’s Miracle assures everyone of never having to smell it again. 3.  I fear stuttering, and don’t like to talk in large groups.  I think this comes from the speech class I was forced into in elementary school.  I lisped.  Wait, here’s the kicker - I lisped because I was missing teeth.  So, instead of fixing a lisp that would’ve been fixed as soon as my teeth came back in, the school made me self-conscious about speaking in public for life. 4.  I often take my pills without liquid.  Just the capsules or the tiny super-coated ones though.  But, that’s really all I’m taking these days.  Lyrica (capsule), Prilosec and sinus pills (super coated).  The occasional pain pills require liquid. 5.  I like answering questions about myself.  I find that weird. I’d like to pass on the “Five Weird Things About Me” meme to anyone reading.  Nancy, Helly, Jen, Leanne, anyone?

1. I’ve never eaten a member of Menudo or even had one in my mouth.  I hear Ricky Martin is straight but his boyfriend is gay so that might explain it.

   I play with my food as well.  Jello is eaten like soup.  Slurped in and filtered between my teeth.
   I dip lasagna in ranch dressing.

   When I get migraines my sense of smell is heightened but it may have something to do with lack of vision and auras.  Fortunately it’s temporary.

2. 1.  I, too, have a super sensitive nose from hell.  Usually this is a curse for me because I can smell any rotting item within a mile.  On occasion, though, it is a blessing.  For instance, in a rose garden or when strolling through the farmer’s market.

   2.  I could eat pizza everyday and never get tired of it.

   3.  I am extra picky about the color of pancakes, therefore I don’t ever eat them in restaurants, only at home.

   4.  Every night I am excited to go to bed because I love my sheets.  Every night for 3 years now!

   5.  If I feel sad or disconnected from my honey, my favorite “pick me up” is to sniff her neck.  MMmmmmmm.

   I’m okay with being weird!
