Love Is…

A crunchy peanut butter & boysenberry jam sandwich, on Hawaiian bread.  There’s very little that pleases me more than this delectable sandwich.

  2. You lost me at Hawaiian bread, and what the hell does a boysenberry taste like?  I really do hate PB&J, it’s a child thing.  Sorry I did not mean to make my comment sound so… I don’t know.  Anyway..  I just wanted to say that I am glad that you are enjoying food, and able to stay awake long enough to eat it.  I hope you are feeling better!

  3. Omigawd, no Hawaiian Bread where you guys are?  That’s terrible.  I asked Leigh-Ann if she’d heard of it before she moved from Canada to New Mexico, and she hadn’t.  So, maybe you guys don’t have it in Canada or the Eastern US.  Or, maybe you just haven’t noticed it - http://www.kingshawaiian.com/products/original.html

It doesn’t show the sliced bread here, but that’s what we’ve been getting lately.  I go through my occasional Hawaiian Bread obsessions, and I’m in the middle of my PB&J one.  It’s soft & sweet, and oh so delicious.  If you two can’t find it in your stores, I’ll send you a loaf.  Kristine, here’s a list of stores that you can try - http://www.kingshawaiian.com/where/where.html & Laurie, check your stores and if you don’t see it, I’ll send some to you.

The best boysenberry jam is Knott’s Boysenberry Preserves (http://tinyurl.com/2x8pel) - for me, it has to have seeds.  I don’t like the seedless kind, and it’s my favorite jam.  I grew up not too far from Knott’s Berry Farm (an amusement park in Southern CA), so maybe boysenberry preserves are a SoCal thing.  Wikipedia says so, at least - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boysenberry

  4. I’ll check it out. If I can’t find it perhaps we could exchange a loaf for some Canadian chocolate bars?

  6. Oh, how I LOVE Hawaiian bread.

As for Knott’s Berry Farm… all I can remember is that my brother and I got in a fight (or something) and declared the park boring.
