Katie Couric & Hillary Clinton

I think I’m missing the gene that finds Katie Couric or Hillary Clinton at all appealing.  Is Katie Couric the person you want comforting you during a disaster?  Peter Jennings, you trusted.  Katie, I find phony.  I feel the same way about Hillary Clinton.  I believe both women are smart, but to me, they seem so unlikeable.  So other.

So, my preference for world news now - the internet.  My preference for the Democratic candidates for 2008 - Al Gore & Russ Feingold.

  1. I don’t like Katie or Hillary, either.  I’d much rather have, say, Ashleigh Banfield reading the news, or Thalia Assuras.  I used to like Sheila McVicker too, although I haven’t seen her in years and don’t know what network she’s with.  Katie’s done too much cutesy stuff for me to take her seriously… I think CBS is in for a ratings shock if they give her the evening news.

As for Hillary, she’s wishy-washy like John McCain.  You know which female politician I sort of like?  Christine Todd Whitman.  I know she’s a Republican, but she seems to be an okay Republican, the non-preachy kind.  I also liked that woman from the Virgin Islands who was on the Colbert Report, but seeing as she can’t even have a seat in congress, I don’t think she’ll ever be President rasberry Remember the good old days when we thought Jennifer Granholm had potential, before she went all “anti gay marriage” on us?
