Jones Soda:  The Dessert Pack (Part One in a Five Part Series) - Banana Cream Pie

We were at Target the other day when I came across new Jones Soda flavors.  I actually just wanted to buy Banana Cream Pie, but alas, it’s only sold in the special limited edition 2006 dessert pack.  So, I bought the whole package of five pie-flavored sodas.  I managed somehow to resist the 2006 Limited Edition Holiday pack, which contains such delightful soda flavors as turkey & gravy, sweet potato, dinner roll, pea, and antacid.  While I would love to try them, in a minute amount, I’m not willing to pay $10 for the opportunity.

I chose Banana Cream Pie as my taste test.  It’s exactly what I expected - it tastes just like Popsicle brand banana popsicles.  You know, the original flavor pack, where you get banana, root beer, and lemon-lime?  I’ve always loved the banana & root beer ones.  So, I give the first soda an A+.  I only wish I could buy it separately.

Also, when I opened my banana cream pie soda, I got this lovely message in my bottle cap.  I hope so.
