It Was A Good Sports Day In Flippy’s World
The Leafs won! The game was great to watch. Fast-paced, action-packed (in Darcy Tucker’s fist), great game by Tie. Then, Monday Night Football and rooting against Tom Brady because in fantasy football, he was my opponent’s quarterback and I had a thirty point lead for the week. And whoo hoo, I won. Yay! Leigh-Ann won that league last year, but retired this year to give the rest of us a chance.
My opponents’ names are blacked out so as to save them from international embarrassment.

Leanne, I must admit that part of my enjoyment of fantasy football is beating you. It’s fun to beat someone who knows more about the game than you’ll ever be able to learn.
MoonandSun, I’d never played fantasy football until last year. I didn’t know that much about football - just what the average person knows. I only knew players from years and years ago, because when I lived at home, my family always rooted on the local teams. I lost interest when the Los Angeles Rams moved to St. Louis.
Helly, you’ll note that I haven’t posted any stats from my hockey teams. Fantasy hockey & fantasy basketball don’t seem to be my fortes - I’m a better baseball/football person. So, no worries, I shall remain in the basement in the hockey league.
