Is 41 and 11/12 Too Old For A Fauxhawk?
Too bad. Today, when we went for haircuts, I was bored with my hair. This was the result.

I like it! I think you should dye the spikes a cool colour, like when you had the deep red highlights in. That looked great.

I had my head shaved for a while (the Sinead O’Connor/ Natalie Portman kind of head shaving) but I can only pull it off when I am relatively thin. I miss having the really short hair.

Helly, I still have the red highlights. I got them done at our last haircut about six or seven weeks ago. You can see them more when I’m fauxhawked because it straightens out my hair and you don’t lose the color in the spikes. I know it doesn’t show much in the pictures though. Maybe I’ll buy some cool temporary colors, like pink & blue.
JRM, I think I have a really terribly shaped head, so I’m terrified to shave it. I’m even too afraid to get a real mohawk because of my enormous cranium.

Very cute! SO many gorgeous bloggers have short hair cuts, as I found out last weekend… I wish I could wear mine like that. The few times I’ve had it short, it sticks out and doesn’t lay flat (the asian in me!) so I end up looking more like a porcupine than an adorable pixie.
PS- my url and gmail account are still coming up blacklisted. Very strange!

Omigawd, Lassa, have you looked at yourself in the mirror? You could shave your head and be yummy. As for the short hair, all you need is the right cut and the right product and you’d be rockin’ the short hair.
