I just checked and it looks like there are arguments about whether it’s a thumb, an index or middle finger. I think there’s no possible way that could be a thumb, which is what a lot of people are arguing. Whose thumb is that straight and long, except maybe Dooce’s.
Anyway, I’ve already seen him flip the bird at Karen Hughes when he was the Gov. of Texas, so it doesn’t take much to make me believe he’s capable of doing it now.
