Idiot of the Day - Hamshahri (Iranian Newspaper)

In a new turn, a prominent Iranian newspaper, Hamshahri, invited artists to enter a Holocaust cartoon competition, saying it wanted to see if freedom of expression — the banner under which many Western publications reprinted the prophet drawings — also applied to Holocaust images.

I fear this is going to be a big disappointment for them, as we Jews are NOT going to be burning down embassies all over the world because some idiots draw some offensive cartoons.  See, there’s this thing called common sense.  Killing strangers because a newspaper halfway across the world published some cartoons...not gonna happen.  So, are they looking to see if freedom of expression actually works when logic is applied?  And, they’re looking for Jews to show them the way? Cool.

I personally declare that I will not harm any person, place or thing, because of a cartoon I may find distasteful.
