Hurricane Katrina - Help A Friend Of A Friend Of A….

I heard from Richard yesterdeay. He needs my/our help. He works at the Justic Center.

For the last 12 years The Justice Center in New Orleans campaigned for poor inmates on death row; some of their recent cases involve a mother who was falsely charged with capital murder of her child and another of case involving a man who sat on death row for four years for a crime he did not commit. He was completely exonerated.

Without the efforts of the Justice Center these people, who cannot afford lawyers, would still be on death row or dead -executed for a crime they did not commit.

The hard working lawyers and staff have lost everything. Their office and homes have been completely destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. They would be grateful to receive any assistance. They have NOTHING so any gifts of clothing, diapers, household items are greatly appreciated.

Richard and crew have been relocated to Houston for the time being.
