Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, it’s 6:22am and my schedule is turned upside and twisted sideways and I don’t know if I’m supposed to be awake or asleep or what days I went to bed. However, right now I’m going to bed after working all night/morning, but having had a couple of naps yesterday evening, after going grocery shopping, instead of going to bed. Got that? Me neither! I’m going to sleep, and then we’re going over to my parents’ house for a Memphis BBQ Thanksgiving - turkey, ham, and prime rib. Yum! Leigh-Ann and I will probably make a small Diestel turkey sometime in the next couple of weeks, but part of that is because it’s just such a delightful scent for the house for a day or so. But really, if turkey wasn’t your thing because you always thought it was dry and icky, get a Diestel from Whole Foods. It’s fabulous.
If you watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, my niece is going to be in it. She’ll be with a dance group from California. Although, I guess I don’t know that all the kids are from California. Anyway, she’s in either the second row or the second-to-last row (apparently they switch it up at some point) and then the instructions of where she’ll be in the row got somewhat confusing. Near Santa or next to Godzilla or poking holes in balloons or something. I’m recording it, so I don’t have to worry about missing anything. I’ll see if I can post some still shots here.
Next entry: "Weeds" - No, no, no, the season needs to be longer! Previous entry: iPod Touch - Lesson 2-
Taylor was w/ the Mike Miller dancers (she was a candy cane)—600 from all around the country (17 from her high school), right in front of Santa—I need to make more money so I can get a really good TV. I’m her dad and I couldn’t spot her—even with TiVo.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone—quiet one here in CA, with Taylor and Beth in NY

Hopefully, we recorded it in HD and we’ll be able to spot her. Our tv was really good...except we bought the tv almost seven years ago.
You should’ve come here for Thanksgiving. There’s still time.

I should probably be home tomorrow night to pick them up at the airport. Had a nice quiet Thanksgiving dinner w/ Justin tonight. I made a turkey all by myself. The problem is, I made dinner 4 nights in a row (really cooked), now it might be expected of me.
Maybe when Taylor is home she’ll give us a better idea of where to look.
