CLIQin.com - I WON, I WON, I WON!

CLIQin.com, I love you.  There, how’s that for the start of an entry?  I’m completely and utterly exhausted, but I want to tell CLIQ how much I love my prize of an 8 GB iPod Touch.  I’m going to be honest - when I won it, I had NO IDEA how cool it was, as I’d never heard of it.  See, I’m not an iPod person, nor an Apple person, however I think I’m going to really love this gadget.  I’m going to love it especially while I’m writing my blog entry about the crappy Microsoft booth at BlogWorld.  The swag that we got at most booths was tremendous - too many shirts (cool ones!) to count (in my head…I’ll actually count them later), lots of pens, some keychains, a hat, some software, some little guys in a tube, a plane from Southwest Airlines, etc.  Plus, many many booths had giveaways on top of the swag.  What did big ol’ Microsoft have?  NOTHING.  Not a single thing.  Not even a copy of their new blog software.  So lame.

Much more in posts to come, but I want to write my special thank to the CLIQ folks, not just for my iPod Touch, but for being nice and having a cool site.  As soon as I finish posting this, I’ll remove the BlogWorld link on my sidebar and add my CLIQ widget.  Join our pet bloggers group so you can see how cool the software is.

1. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!  (<—sinister laugh)  And so it begins! Phase One of our plot to win Flippy over to The Dark Side is successful!  One day an iPod, and soon…SOON…A MAC!

2. Not gonna happen.  I used two Macs to register for things at the convention, and HATED them.  Hated the keyboard and the mouse.  My keyboard and mouse are so comfy, and the Mac ones are flat and aren’t curvy to fit my hands.  Plus, the tiny little button on the mouse…ick.

   So far, I’ve found the iPod Touch a bit annoying, considering everything has to be done through iTunes, which I don’t like.  I’m a happy Rhapsody user, so it’s pretty annoying to be forced to sign in to iTunes.  The iTouch is very very pretty, but I need to immediately get a case for it.  It’s pretty & shiny…and gets covered in fingerprints in seconds.
