BlogHer - The View From At Home
Yeah, yeah, Leigh-Ann said she didn’t want to read me boo-hooing (she used some other word, probably a bigger one) about not being at BlogHer. Well, I just went and looked at pictures from the dinner tonight…and I recognized people sitting at the table. From their blogs! Sitting together? Like in real life and stuff. So, I hope Jen, Melissa and Alice were having a good time. I know I saw lotsa empty Corona bottles on the table. I hate beer, but it looked like fun nonetheless.
Okay, so I didn’t make it to BlogHer (if I write this a dozen times, how many times will I show up on Technorati?), but I did make it to Vons. Seriously, baby pineapples are adorable and tremendously cheering on thunderstormy Friday. I took a solo picture, then a picture of him with his big brother pineapple. I also took a picture of the new Kirk Gibson Wheaties box. Yay, Dodgers!

The ONLY reason I wanted to go to Blogher was to meet Mindy (themommyblog) and get drunk. I’m a little sad I didn’t go, but happy that I, too, went to vons and just saved $113.00 with coupons and vons club.
So happy, I called people to TELL them about it. That makes me a big dork, doesn’t it?

I don’t know Mindy, but go next time. I’ll buy you a drink. Starbucks, maybe, so we both remember being at the conference.
Okay, saving $113.00 is pretty darned amazing, so I don’t blame you for calling people. Hey, does your Vons have baby pineapple too? They’re so damned cute. Speaking of cute, I went to your blog (and remembered being there before on my blogging travels)...your kids were so cute at the beach. And hey, if you don’t like pictures of yourself, you can always fix them with PhotoShop. I do.
