BlogWorld

BlogWorld Expo.  Am so tired.  Got there.  Was able to do one row of booths, then start the second…and ran out of time.  Had to rush to do the classroom sessions, which were really good.  Also got to meet Leigh-Ann’s pals from Lijit outside the entrance, just after closing time.  They’re very very nice.  Tomorrow, we’ll go back to see more people, learn more things, get more ideas, and get some Lijit swag.  We’ve already discovered some new, but super cool companies and products.

The one disappointment - the honey roasted peanuts from Southwest Airlines.  Apparently, when these batches were being cooked up, the honey wasn’t scheduled to work that day.  There is no honey flavor in my nuts, man.  However, the little Tangle toy (I can add it to my SuperZoo one) from Fast Company is cool, as is the frisbee from Kontera.  The pen from redlasso is neat too.  I love swag.  We got a few new t-shirts too.

Must go to sleep.  Have more to see, more to learn, more to meet…early.  Next year, you should go.  It’s worth it.  I promise.

2. I think Lijit might be giving me a job!  Try out their little “wijit” by goint to Lijit.com—it allows people to search your blog either via the Lijit website, or via your own site.  It will give you a “text cloud” of the search terms people use most often.  You can see it on my blog in the right sidebar, just under my regular search box.
