I bought you a funny get-well card last Thursday. “But I haven’t seen it,” you might be thinking. Well, that’s because the post office will not pick up from my kitchen counter; apparently you have to “place” “properly stamped and directed” mail in “designated receptacles” in order to achieve delivery. This requires functioning brain cells. It’s not looking good.

Luckily, somehow I knew that card was there. It’s done wonders for my disposition, and I’m almost feeling perky now. Okay, perky is an exaggeration, but still, I appreciate the thought.
