Another Good Reason To Own A Laptop

Grotesquely swollen feet.  Make that, mostly, swollen foot.  My right foot has been acting weird in the past month or so.  And the study about sitting at a desk being more dangerous than flying for causing blood clots was spooky.  So, tomorrow, I spend all of my computer time on the couch with my feet up.  I’d like to remember what my ankle bones look like.  I mean, not that they’re super fantastico under ordinary circumstances, but it’s kind of icky when they dent.  So, for my mom’s birthday, I shall have a day of rest…and hockey.

And a very happy birthday to my parents - my mom today…and my dad on the 19th.  They’ll be on a cruise.  Lucky them!  But, they deserve a vacation.

1. I’m guessing your parents never forgot one another’s birthdays

   I had terrible edema when I was pregnant.  I once gained 8 pounds in one week just because of the swelling.  Have fun sitting
