The Things You Can Find At Grocery Stores…

Phoenix thought it was delicious though.

I apologize for not being around, but life called...and I went and hid under the covers until it called someone else.

How about something more pleasant?

Here’s my brother, my niece, and my grand/great (dictionaries can’t seem to decide) niece on the tv news.  Isn’t Jordyn one of the cutest babies ever?

Another Lesson Learned

If you sleep for 48 hours, when you wake up, nothing will be different in your life.  Unfortunately.  In fact, things might be a little worse.  For instance, those pool motors won’t be fixed and the pool is just that much closer to being green with algae.  Do you know anyone who might like to buy a baseball card autographed by Yogi Berra & Les Moss for $1000?  There are only 25 in the whole wide world like this.  wink

I won this!

It’s not fair! ::stomp::  ::stomp::

A couple of weeks ago, our pool equipment started making terrible noises.  Yesterday, we had someone from Paddock come out to look at the equipment so we could find out what was wrong with it.  Let’s start with the fact that we had a five year warranty on the motors and we’re now in year six.  Yep, you guessed it - the motors for both the cleaning system and the filter are blown and need to be replaced at $500 each.  Seriously, in a previous life did we do really really bad things?

I Survived

Leigh-Ann came home on Wednesday evening.  None of the cats had diarrhea anymore, the litter boxes were all really clean, there was new cat food freshly made, and everyone was healthier than when she’d left.  And then...I collapsed in exhaustion and stress relief while she took over the feeding & medicating.  I was rewarded with a bunch of cool new t-shirts...and some desperately needed sleep.
