Keyword Analysis - The Top 20 keywords for finding my blog recently

flippy - totally makes sense mystery shampoo in newspaper - the big reveal is Friday, I think fruitables pet food - I don’t think they make food, but they make the most deliciously scented dogs snacks evah! dante and mariana bichette - it’s been a long time since I wrote about them.  Their son was in the Little League World Series several years ago - he was really good and rather cute, but mostly I wrote about how cute his mom was in the stands. belinda boobies - I don’t think I’ve ever written about Belinda Stronach’s “boobies”, although I may have written about her breast cancer, but I don’t recall doing so.  Regardless, who does a search for someone’s “boobies” after they’ve had breast cancer?  Crass, man. photo of mariana bichette - Hey, I do have one of the few Mariana Bichette pictures online.  It was taken from the tv. good shoes herniated disc - Definitely Earth Shoes tennis shoes w/ the negative heel and Crocs.  My back surgeon, who has a herniated disk, wears Crocs daily. complaints about lyrica med - Yeah, cuz Lyrica’s side effects suck!  Weight gain, extreme fatigue (I fell asleep, several times, while sitting on the toilet), horribly swollen feet & ankles.  It worked well for a couple of weeks, but the side effects were SO not worth it.  I’m in a clinical study for Reboxetine right now and it’s a far superior Fibromyalgia drug.  It gives you energy (rather than fatigue) and lessens your pain.  I felt the changes within the first week.  The side effects for it aren’t great either, but they’re better than the Lyrica ones.  The med makes me a bit jumpy (it’s a reformulation of the ADHD drug, Strattera), it makes me sweat at random times (which I loathe), and it makes it hard for me to fall asleep.  I now need meds to get to sleep most nights.  Although, I can still sleep throughout the day, but I just can’t sleep when I’m supposed to be sleeping. james rincon - A friend from elementary (Nevada Ave), junior high (Columbus), and high school (Chatsworth).  I don’t know what ever became of him because apparently the people who are doing these searches don’t know the same James Rincon.  If they do, they’re not telling me. leanne domi - gee, the real one or the fake one who professed to be my friend for a couple of years…and is probably a guy?  I admit, I do miss fake Leanne - “she” was entertaining and we had some good talks.  Alas, the real Leanne Domi, I don’t think I’d like.  It’s too bad she isn’t more like the fake. nuddle blanket - do a search for nuddle on this page to find the entry…and buy one from the link.  They look lovely.  Bah, don’t do a search, here’s the link! tricia kean breasts - they say hello sometimes when she does the news. im addicted to kool-aid - isn’t it delicious!  I like to freeze it, so I can have slushy Kool-Aid.  It’s too bad about all those sugar calories, and it’s too bad the sugar-free ones don’t taste as good, nor do they freeze as well. flippy kissing - sounds like a good idea to me. pazzano, sam - toronto - I don’t recall who this is.  Lemme look it up.  Oh yeah, he writes for a Toronto newspaper and he was writing about the nasty Tie & Leanne Domi divorce michelle caruso haircut - I don’t recall who this is either.  Oh, she wrote an article about Mel Gibson.  I’ll bet no one is looking for that Michelle’s haircut. kettlemania - delicious popcorn bissell proheat 2x select coupon - I wrote about how Bissell was going to donate 5% of sales to Petfinder.com, which was ultimately cheating them out of the 3% more that they would’ve gotten if they’d signed up for Bissell’s affiliate program, which pays 8%.  I hate when companies treat people like they’re stupid and pretend they’re being so very very generous, when they’re not even being fair, much less generous.  marijuana weakness in leg disc - Using marijuana for weakness in leg due to a herniated disk?  I don’t think the marijuana would help that, but I do believe it would help the pain a lot. where to buy fruitables for dogs - Buy Fruitables from Amazon, right here! I promise that you’ll want to longingly sniff each snack you give your dogs.  Oh, and your dogs will love them too!

the wee hours

Cleaning up the mess of my desk

Leigh-Ann set up my laptop so I can use my normal keyboard (yay!), my normal monitor (yay!) and my normal mouse (triple yay!), but my desk is such a mess of icky paperwork (boo!) that I’m having to stack it in various places in the bedroom to get it off my desk so that the laptop can sit on my desk, out of the way.

I was going through one particular stack and amongst the unpaid bills, I found some childhood birthday cards, my notes from my Wills & Trusts class (very tidy and nicely highlighted!) when I went to paralegal school, a newspaper article my brothers wrote for a local newspaper when my softball team won a national championship in 1978, an A- paper from my English class in 10th grade (ugh, hated that class, but my handwriting looked kind of nice then) about that softball tournament, my MRI results from 2.5 years ago (not good, and sadly after a bad night’s sleep, my back/leg feel somewhat similar to then), and the Valley Conference Individual Events Champions Track & Field Meet from June 1974.  My mom wrote in the result of the track meet - I was only in two events, the 440 yd (now 400m) relay where we came in second (but my mom wrote in “Fastest 110, anyone on track” - so, yay me…I wasn’t especially fast, but my block starts were unrivaled, man) and the 4lb shot put, where I came in second.  The league record was 26’9” and I did my personal best of 28.1 1/2, but damn that Sandy Jaramillo, improving on her record to 33.2 3/4.  My defense, she was twice my size (or so it seemed to me when I was 9), but ha!, I’ll bet I’m twice her size now.  That was my last year of track, I think - I quit track to play softball.  Track meets are all day events, which are super boring (and hot!) for your families who have to sit in the stands and wait for your events to be called.  My brothers were much happier to attend and/or coach my softball teams versus going to my track meets.  Can’t blame ‘em.  Mostly what I remember about track was getting tasty oranges at each meet.  I had fun, but I had more fun playing softball.

That ends our travels through my most interesting stack of stuff on my desk.  The rest of it is mostly mail (and dustballs!) that needs to be shredded.  Because of the cats, we haven’t done much shredding and it’s gotten stacked up super high and tippy.  Now, it would be handy to have one of those commercial shredders for a day.

It’s kind of sad how far we have to reach to have something to post every day for NaBloPoMo, huh?  My apologies.

Updated: I’m sure none of you are interested, but my family reads my blog and I think they’ll be proud to know that 34 years later, Sandy’s record still stands, and as far as I can tell, I’m still 2nd, but the history books don’t remember the kid that came in second to the record holder.  The records…oops, I was looking at 1998.  In 2001, some girl beat me by 9 inches, but Sandy’s record stands.  Still, why are they letting other second place kids show up in the record books when I didn’t get to?  Totally not fair!

Another Sunday, Another Fantasy Football Loss

My team is good, but every time they score 100+ points, the team I’m playing scores more, even though just about every week I’d beat 7 of the other 9 teams.  I’m always playing one of the two teams that scores the most that week.  Ugh, it’s so depressing.  I probably won’t even make the playoffs at this rate, and up until two weeks ago, my team had the most points in the whole darned league.  I protest!

the wee hours

I’ve run out of things to say…

So, I will say a lot of nothing.  Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.  Falalala lalalala.  Good night.  Although, I do wish I had more horchata.

Horchata - it tastes like a holiday in a cup

I’m still on the laptop, grrrr, so I don’t have any graphic programs on here, except Paint.  Oh gawd, Paint is so awful.  Anyway, I dislike reading directions, so my cropped picture of the lovely Horchata drink is more artistic than it would be ordinarily.  Why the heck can’t Paint have a normal cropping feature?  I can do it in both Photo Impact & Photoshop, so shouldn’t Paint be even easier?  Well, it’s not.  So here, here’s my interesting crop of the Kern’s Horchata carton.  horchata

Mmmmm, yummy.  I wish it didn’t have so many calories though.  I just lost like 15 pounds by, well, feeling nauseous and not eating much over the past few weeks, so I don’t want to spoil it by drinking up all of my calories.  I wish the lost 15 pounds were off of my normal average, but alas, they’re off my highest weight ever.  Gross, man.  It’s like the Michelin Man invaded my body, only my tires aren’t so nice, even, and rock hard.  Blech.  You know why poor people are fat?  Because almost all the food that’s good for you costs more - fresh fruits & veggies.  Leaner meats, seafood, bottled water, all more pricey than Hungryman dinners, soda or Kool-Aid packets, etc.  Have you ever priced out the good for you cereals?  Generally $4.50+, and the crappy full of sugar/no fiber cereals - $2.  My favorite Fiber One cereal (when you take pain meds, you want fiber, believe me) used to be fairly cheap at Wal-Mart, which is where we bought it for months.  Then, all of a sudden, the price practically doubled overnight.  I don’t know if you’ve all noticed the higher prices at the grocery store, but it’s kind of scary how much stuff costs now…even at Wal-Mart.  Actually, you have to be careful if you’re shopping at Wal-Mart thinking that all of their prices are lower than your regular grocery store.  Some stuff, mostly the non-edible stuff like cleaning products & such, costs more at Wal-Mart.  Also, Albertsons, which used to be our regular grocery store (and originally, our only grocery store nearby, when our neighborhood was still the boonies and full of empty lots and quiet streets - I miss those days) is more expensive than Smith’s, which doesn’t make any sense because Smith’s usually has a better variety of products.  Of course, no store has everything you want/need, it always has to be spread out amongst three or four different stores.  Wal-Mart has a new tasty and convenient product - Jell-O Instant Pudding Singles.  It’s like the drink singles, you just pour it into the milk, stir, wait five minutes, and you’ve got perfectly lovely chocolate pudding.  At Wal-Mart, they have chocolate (regular & sugar-free) & vanilla (regular & sugar-free), but I’m sure Jell-O will eventually add new flavors once everyone starts buying up this fabulous new product. (Hint! - go.buy.now!)  Anyway, we do our usual shopping at Smith’s, and they don’t carry ANY of the pudding singles.  We had to go to Albertsons (there’s no apostrophe in the name, for some weird reason) last week to get lamb for the stew Leigh-Ann was making, and Smith’s didn’t have the lamb either.  However, Albertsons had the lamb and vanilla pudding singles, but not chocolate.  It’s not like they were out of the chocolate, there wasn’t even a space for chocolate on the shelf.  Why?  Wouldn’t chocolate be more popular?  Or, at least 50/50?  So they had both sugar-free and regular vanilla, instead of carrying regular chocolate & regular vanilla - there really aren’t that many calories/fat grams in a cup of pudding.  I’m not sure if Von’s carries any of the singles.  Also, Wal-Mart has several varieties of frozen edamame that you steam in the bag in the microwave.  Smith’s has none in their regular frozen vegetables section and one kind in their gourmet healthy food frozen section that’s on the other side of the store - also, it’s really expensive and the product isn’t as good as the much cheaper versions at Wal-Mart.  I don’t get it.  Do Wal-Mart shoppers really seem like they’d be more into edamame than supposedly higher end Smith’s shoppers?  Pudding, sure, I’d venture a guess that Wal-Mart customers would buy more pudding, but edamame?  No way.  So, this tells me that Smith’s should start stocking the Edamame Steamers.  Now!

Mmmmmmmmmm!
