Loo Cats
Bad cell phone pictures of Bunny & Dobby. Dobby (I haven’t finished Harry Potter yet, so please, no spoilers) will be available through Petfinder soon. Right now she needs to gain some weight and stop bolting in fear of people, as that makes people bleed when she runs across their bare feet. Um, ow. However, in just a couple of days, she’s made tremendous progress. She LOOOOOOOVES other cats though, so she’s already romping with the other kids and playing with toys. She’s also great about using a litterbox, which is a surprise for a, possibly feral, eight week old stray.
This was taken with a regular camera, but the quality is still not that great. She doesn’t sit still for long, so it’s hard to get good pictures of her. This helps show how tiny she is. She’s standing on the toilet tank, in our “quarantine” room. She’s been tested for everything though, and she’s healthy.

the wee hours
Today, I’m Forty-FREE!
Yep, today, I’m forty-FREE!, and so far I’ve celebrated my birthweek by getting a new driver’s license (my picture is actually not terrible, which pleases me immensely - the picture I’ve had for the last eight years was taken right when we moved to Vegas and needed haircuts, so it was a super bad hair day) and taking a nap. In fact, I spent the first twenty-FREE! minutes of my birthday napping. We’ve gotten into the weird habit of being exhausted at 10:30p, and laying down for a nap. Dante woke me up to wish me a happy birthday at 12:23am...at least I think that’s why he was barking. I’m hoping to get to Todai to get my free birthday sushi, but just thinking about driving to the Strip is making me want to nap again. Let’s not think about that, let’s look at a cute picture of Carlo instead.
