Let’s Kick Off NaBloPoMo With Narcissism

Or, as I like to call it, the glory of my youth—when walking up and down the stairs didn’t cause any pain.  Oh, how I miss that.  I also really miss playing softball.  The softball field was always the place I felt most comfortable, well, until the internet was available to us mere mortals.

So, anyway, this is me, in 1985.  I just found this softball program in the closet, when I was actually looking for an old love letter from sixth grade that I wanted to post.  Also, contrary to what this bio says, I wasn’t all league in high school, although I should’ve been.  I’m still bitter about being overlooked, so let’s not discuss it.  I was, however, all Southern California in college and tied for league MVP.  So there, take that, high school!

These are the school records from our softball program.  I underlined me, because that’s the kind of self-important chick I am.  Also, it was 22 years ago, when life was good and kinda easy.

It’s National Blog Posting Month!  Go NaBloPoMo!

First of all, I’d like to thank Fussy for organizing the unwashed (right now, that’s me!) masses and getting us each to post at least once a day for the whole month of November.  I don’t know how many people are participating now, but it’s in the hundreds, maybe the hundreds of thousands, maybe the millions.  Anyway, it’s a lot of us.  I’d also like to thank pink elephants, the blog, not just pink elephants in general.  Pink elephants has made a NaBloPoMo Randomizer, so you can just keep clicking and finding blogs that you’ve never read before, instead of going to your same ol’ same ol’ blogs and seeing what’s new.
